Our Story

Fire Remedy Systems (FRS) was established in 1983 as a turn-key solutions provider specializing in Electro-Mechanical Construction (ECM) — particularly fire fighting systems, fire alarm and detection systems, and civil works.

Over four decades, we have built a reputation for delivering critical safety infrastructure to India's most important institutions — from Parliament House and government ministries to hospitals, defence installations, educational campuses, and commercial complexes.

Today, FRS operates through its head office in New Delhi and 16 branch offices, executing projects across every region of the country. Our CPWD Class-1 Composite Category enlistment and ISO 9001:2015 certification reflect our commitment to the highest standards of quality, safety, and project execution.

Why We Build the Way We Do

Our founder on the conviction that started this company in 1983, and why it still governs every site we run.

“

When we started in 1983, fire safety in India was treated as a box to be ticked at the end of a project. We built this company on the opposite belief — that it is the part of a building no one should ever have to think about, because it was done properly the first time.

Four decades later, that conviction has carried us into some of the country's most important buildings. It has also taught us that in this trade, reputation is not won on any single project. It is won by turning up, year after year, for the same clients — and by being the contractor called in when someone else has left a job unfinished.

We have grown from one office to sixteen, and from a handful of works to more than six hundred. What has not changed is how we work: our engineers stay on site, nothing is procured before the client has approved it, and the people who check the quality are not the people under pressure to finish.

How We Work

Six commitments that hold on every project, regardless of size or client

01

The engineer stays on site

Every project carries a permanent on-site project manager and senior engineers for day-to-day supervision — not a visiting supervisor who signs off from an office elsewhere.

02

Nothing is ordered before it is approved

Technical data sheets for every major item of equipment go to the client first. Vendor orders are placed only after that approval, and always under intimation to the client.

03

Quality is checked by someone who did not build it

A senior executive from head office is assigned to each project for quality control and workmanship monitoring, independent of the site team delivering the work.

04

Report before you are asked

Weekly reporting on work, labour and material status, monthly PERT charts and resource statements, and periodic bar-chart reviews with the client — through to handover.

05

The code is the floor, not the ceiling

Designs follow the National Building Code 2016, CPWD specifications and the relevant Indian Standards as a minimum — then answer to the tender specification and the building in front of us.

06

We finish what others leave unfinished

A meaningful share of our portfolio is balance work and rescinded-tender completion — jobs taken over mid-way and carried through. Clients call us when a project needs rescuing.

Common Questions

About FRS — FAQs

Credentials, capability and how we run a project.

Three that matter most to our clients: CPWD enlistment in Class-1 Composite Category, Contractor Grade-I enlistment with the Chief Engineer, Panchayati Raj Public Works, Punjab, and ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management.

CPWD grades contractors by the value and type of work they are permitted to tender for. Class-1 is the highest category, and Composite means we are enlisted for combined civil and electro-mechanical works rather than one discipline alone. In practice it allows FRS to bid for CPWD works valued up to ₹50 Crore.

Each project runs from a fully-equipped site office with a permanent on-site team — typically a project manager supported by senior engineers for day-to-day supervision. They stay on site for the duration of the work rather than visiting periodically.

Quality is checked independently of the team building the work: a senior executive from head office is assigned to each project for quality control and workmanship monitoring. Materials come from approved vendors, and technical data sheets for every major item are submitted for client approval before any order is placed.

Weekly reports covering work, labour and material status, monthly PERT charts and resource statements, and periodic bar-chart reviews with the client — continuing through to testing, commissioning and formal handover.
